GEORGE SADAK
is a drummer, percussionist
and a recording artist for MB Orchestra. Since George’s career began
when he was too short to reach a bass drum pedal, he studied several hand
drums to compensate. He went on to study and perform a range of styles, from
the Rai music of North Africa to styles from southern Europe and the eastern
Arabic gulf. He also spent 9 years in LA, where he toured and co-produced
several international stars before settling back in the Seattle area to
rejoin his family group, MB Orchestra. |

Arab stars George has
performed with include Rabeeh EL Khawli, Ihab
Tawfik, Assi Elhelani, Wael Al Kafoury, and Magdy Al Housseiny. European and
western artists include Vasilis Karas, Giorgos Margaritis, Lefteris Pantazis,
Harut Agopyan, Robert Shelengarian, Antipas, Aggelos Dionisiou Tatool, Harut
Khachoyan, Harut Pambokhchyan, Kitchka, and Gina Hailey (Bill Haileys
daughter). George also performed percussions on Sunday August 7, 2005 with
Issa Boulos'
soothing rhythms on the magical ud.
